Mirroring in Tesla is a Cyber Dash service that puts your phone screen on Tesla’s built-in display. What you see on the phone is what you see on the Tesla screen. You do not add a Fire Stick, an HDMI box, or extra hardware in the car.

On iPhone you can show the iPhone screen on the Tesla display. Maps, video, messages, or any app that is open on the phone can sit on the Tesla screen instead of a phone mount.

On Android you can show the Android screen on the Tesla display the same way. iPhone or Android, the Tesla screen follows the phone.

To use this service, download our app for iOS or Android. Mirroring in Tesla starts from that app. Without the iOS or Android app, the phone screen does not appear on the Tesla display.

Do I need HDMI or a Fire Stick?

No. There is no extra box in the car. The Tesla screen follows the phone.
